The Sorghum Checkoff is a producer-funded organization dedicated to improving the sorghum industry through research, promotion and education. It was established in 2008 by an act of Congress. The 13-member board is appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and represents sorghum growers across the U.S.
The Sorghum Checkoff helps U.S. sorghum farmers communicate with consumers about the value of sorghum as a healthy, versatile grain. This website, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are funded by the Sorghum Checkoff.
