Sorghetti

6 cups cooked pearled sorghum
1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2-1 teaspoon salt (to taste )
1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
1 large jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1 pound lean ground beef, browned Freshbasil (optional)
Parmesan cheese, shredded 

In casserole combine sorghum with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper; set aside & keep warm. Meanwhile, in saucepan combine spaghetti sauce and ground beef; heat thoroughly. Stack fresh basil leaves together and gently roll into a cigar. Using a sharp knife, slice them into thin ribbons ( chiffonade ). To serve, spoon herbed sorghum into pasta bowl and top with hot spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with chiffonade of basil and shred- ded Parmesan cheese. 

So quick and easy! Serve with crusty cheese bread. You will never miss spaghetti again! Enjoy!
