Veggie Burgers

2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 tablespoons scallion, sliced
1 tablespoon togarashi (Japanese spice)
1 teaspoon tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
1/3 quart whole grain sorghum, cooked
1 quart black beans
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Place sauté pan over medium heat.  Once pan is hot add sesame oil and black beans.  After Stirring or tossing over the heat for 2 minutes add the garlic, scallions, salt, pepper,  cilantro and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.  Turn off the heat and deglaze with the tamari. Toss together for 30 seconds.  Place bean mixture in a bowl and set aside to cool.  Once cooled, fold in the sorghum and place in refrigerator for 1 hour.  It should now be firm enough to begin to make 2oz slider patties.  When you are ready with the oil of your choice over medium heat pan sear each burger for 5 minutes on each side.
