  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Drain canned tomatoes and reserve the juice.
  3. Add white pearled sorghum grain in the water and then add the bell peppers, onions, diced tomatoes, salt, granulated garlic and cumin into the boiling water.
  4. Stir and bring back to a boil, then mix in reserved tomato juice.
  5. Cover the pot and lower the flame to a simmer and allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the flame off and allow to sit for 20 minutes.
